Hello and welcome to my website.I have studied Decorative Arts at Nottingham Trent University for 3 years and have chosen to specialise in ceramics. The course also incorporated a number of other subjects, with drawing and card making being two of my favorites. I have always been a very creative person and this course has enabled me to express myself and my ideas through clay.
Every piece that I create is individually thrown on a potter's wheel. Recently I have attempted to integrate contemporary design into the traditional 'slipware' methods. I feel this adds to the unique image of my work. A big inspiration for me is nature and colour, with colour in particular being the focal point of my work.
